BIBM 2025 Workshop

Title: Large Foundation Models for Multi-Modal Learning in Bioinformatics and Biomedicine Informatics (BioMedFM)

We are delighted to announce that our proposed workshop, "Large Foundation Models for Multi-Modal Learning in Bioinformatics and Biomedicine Informatics (BioMedFM)," has been accepted for the upcoming 2025 IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM).

Call for Submissions

The advent of large foundation models has revolutionized the field of artificial intelligence, offering unprecedented capabilities in processing and understanding complex data. In recent years, various large foundation models have emerged in the fields of bioinformatics and biomedicine Informatics. These advanced models offer the ability to process and interpret multi-modal data types, such as genomic sequences, single-cell transcriptomics, medical imaging, and clinical notes, which are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of biological systems and disease mechanisms. This workshop will focus on the development and application of large foundation models within the bioinformatics and biomedicine informatics domains, exploring their utility in advancing automatic diagnosis, disease outcome prediction, prognosis estimation, and other bioinformatics applications. We warmly invite researchers, academics, and industry professionals to submit their original research and contributions to this workshop.
