Graduate Students

We are seeking self-motivated PhD and Master students passionate about AI for Science to join our lab. While not essential, candidates with the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience in AI and ML.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Basic knowledge in image processing, bioinformatics, or cheminformatics.

Undergraduate Students

Our lab welcomes undergraduates who are eager to engage in research. Interested students are welcome to inquire about our research group and current projects by emailing Prof. Yang to schedule an appointment.

Postdoctoral Fellow

We are recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in Biomedical Image Understanding. The role will involve:

• Developing DL models for biomedical image analysis, with a focus on biomarker identification.
• Specializing in multi-modal learning across medical images, text, genomics, and regulatory data.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and beyond.

Key qualifications include:

• A recent PhD in a relevant discipline (computer science, biomedical engineering, or bioinformatics).
• A solid foundation in ML, with a strong emphasis on DL.
• Familiarity with ML/DL frameworks such as sklearn and PyTorch.
• A publication record in peer-reviewed journals/conferences.
